BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, we are participating in the municipality polls race as part of our movement to restore democracy.The BNP spokesperson made the statement while talking to reporters at the party`s Nayapaltan headquarters five days after releasing from the jail on Sunday.Fakhrul said, our election commission`s role is not neutral. They are playing partisan role. So in such case, how fair and neutral election would be it is becoming clear.The EC’s overall role has been made questionable through its activities as it is working in favour of the ruling party’s interest, Fakhrul alleged.
