Jamaican hard hitter popularly known as ‘Six-machine’ Chris Gayle is set to play for the Chittagong Vikings against Rangpur Riders on Sunday in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The batsman arrived in Dhaka on Friday and took part in practice session with the team on Saturday, Media manager of Chittagong Vikings Kazi Rakibuddin Pappo informed.
However, English cricketer Tymal Mills who played for Vikings has already left Bangladesh as his contact ended after Gayle’s arrival.
The match between Rangpur and Chittagong will take place at 5:45 pm on Sunday.
Rangpur is in the third position of the table with 10 points from 7 matches while Chittagong holds the fourth position with 8 points from 8 matches.
