Police on Saturday recovered the body of Enamul Haque Gias, 50, general secretary of ward No-8 of Sarulia union unit of Awami League with the throat slit at Tantir Pukur in the city’s West Sanarpar area.Sirajul Islam officer in-charge of demra police confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.He said, locals spotted Gias’ body in the morning and informed police, who recovered the body around 1 pm.
