A victim burnt during a fire at a match factory in Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at 2am Wednesday.Akhi, 14, daughter of Ashraful Alam, from Rangpur, died of her injuries at the burn unit of the DMCH.On Tuesday afternoon, a fire broke out at a warehouse of ‘Colour Match BD’ at Jirabo Fulbagan in Ashulia.At least 26 workers suffered burn injuries in the fire, several of them in critical condition.The district administration has announced assistance of Tk20,000 to the family members of the dead each and Tk10,000 for the injured in the fire.
