The next summit of World Information Technology and Services Alliances (WITSA) will be held in Bangladesh in 2021.Regarding this matter, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Saturday at Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) building.ICT state Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and WITSA chairman Yvonne Chiu were present in the programme.The association appreciated the government’s initiatives of ‘Digital Bangladesh’ and ‘Vision-2021’ and agreed to arrange the WITSA congress-2021 in Bangladesh.WITSA chairman Yvonne Chiu said Bangladesh is passing a great time as it gained success in ICT sector within short time of period. WITSA has come forward to speed up its activities.However, the summit held every two years and this year it was held in Sao PauLo city of Brazil this year.
