Supreme Court has ordered the concern authority to demolish Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) building in Dhaka’s Hatirjheel area immediately at its own cost.The apex court has released its full verdict of 35 pages on its website on Tuesday after signing five justices of Appellate Division led by chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha.Confirming the matter Additional Registrar of High Court Sabbir Fayez said it has ordered to demolish the building within 90 days. Now the authority will be able to submit review plea.BGMEA authority may submit review plea within 30 days after getting a copy of full verdict officially. It isn’t clear whether they will apply or not.Lawyer Manjil Morshed said, the BGMEA authority is supposed to demolish at its own cost.
