The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is going to be resumed at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday, four days later of its inauguration.The BPL governing body was forced to halt the tournament till November 8 due to incessant rainfall across the country.The defending champion Comilla Victorians were supposed to take on Rajshahi Kings in the opening match on November 4.The toss of the match took place, but the players couldn’t play even a single ball as torrential rainfall began and the match was abandoned.All stakeholders of the BPL including seven franchises, broadcasting partner Channel-9 and high officials of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) at a meeting took the decision to resume the tournament on November 8.The BPL will end on time as per previous schedule despite all suspended matches including three matches which were abandoned and points were divided among the teams will be take place in reschedule date.The matches are supposed to take place on reserve days.Mashrafee Bin Mortaza led Comilla are supposed to play Chittagong Vikings led by Tamim Iqbal in the afternoon and Khulna Titans are set to take on Rajshahi Kings in the evening on opening day of reschedule date.
