A leader of dacoit gang was killed in an alleged gunfight with police on Magura-Jhenaidah highway near Alamkhali bazaar area in Magura on Monday at 3am.The deceased is Shawkat Mondol, 38. He was the accused of six cases filed with Boalkhali and Madhukhali police station.Sudarshan Kumar Roy, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.
