Police have detained 21 more people for their alleged involvement in the recent attacks on the Hindus in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district.Police conducted separate drives in different parts of the upazila from Sunday night to Monday dawn and arrested them.Identities of the detainees were not disclosed by police.Confirming the matter, Abu Jafar, officer-in-charge of Nasirnagar Police Station, said a total of 74 people have been arrested in connection to the attacks on the Hindu community in the upazila.On 30 October, some unruly people demolished 15 Hindu temples and vandalised more than 100 houses in the upazila following a Facebook post that allegedly hurt the religious sentiment.Five days after the violent attacks, a group of miscreants also set fire on three houses of the Hindhu community and a temple on 3 October.On Saturday night, an attempt was made again to set fire on the house of the upazila vice-president and Juba League president, Anjan Kumar Dev.
