A police constable was killed and other injured as a bus ran him over at Patiya Upazila in Chittagong on Friday at 9.30am.The deceased is Md. Karim, 30, younger brother of Abdul Gofur of Banshkhali upazila. The injured Rubel Dash was sent to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.Confirming the matter, Rezaul Karim, Inspector (Investigation) of Potiya Police Station, said, Karim and Rubel were going to Banshkhali riding motorcycle. A bus coming from opposition ran them over when they reached at Doulotpur area. At that time, motorcycle driver Karim died on the spot, he added.
