Police arrested five militants from Kochupara area in Gazipur on Tuesday night.The arrested people are Engineer Md. Tanvirul Haque Sajal, son of Abdul Kasehm, hailed from Bogra, Md. Harun Miah, son of Siraj Miah, of Kishoreganj, Md. Hosen, son of Jongu Miah, Din Islam, son of Romjan Ali and Abdul Hannan, son of Abdul Hannan. Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid, Gazipur Police Superintendent, said this at a press conference at his office on Wednesday morning. Harun said, acting on a tip off, a team of police conducted a drive and arrested them from Kochupara area. At that time, 6 cocktails, 5 petrol bombs, 1 machete, 2 flags and some jihadi books were recovered from them.
