Three members of a family including brother and sister have been punished by a mobile court in connection with cheating in Chittagong University first year admission test for the session 2016-17.They were held during ‘E’ Unit admission test under Law faculty on Sunday. Confirming the matter, Executive Magistrate of the mobile court Ariful Islam Sarder said Umme Habiba and Maeen Uddin have been fined Tk. 5000 each and Shoib alias Ramjanul Ali has been jailed for three months as per Public Examination (Law and Crime)-1980 article No. 3.Habiba and Soaib are siblings and Maeen Uddin is a cousin of them, he siad.He also informed that a Sohel Rana was detained in this connection, but got acquittal as the allegation was not proved.
