Chittagong District Police in overnight special drives arrested 90 people including 4 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), at different upazilas of the district Saturday night .The law enforcers also recovered 6200 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets, 75 litres liquor and 200 gram hemp during the night-long drives.Mohammad Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district police said that several teams of police conducted the drives in different Upazilas of the district Saturday night and rounded up 90 people.The arrested includes 2 Jamaat men, 2 ICS activists, 64 warranty and 22 accused in regular cases, the additional SP added.
