A Sylhet court on Wednesday awarded death penalty to Kamrul and 3 others in Rajon murder case.The court of Sylhet’s Session Judge Akbar Hossain Mridha passed the verdict.The four death convicts are Kamrul Islam, Moina, Tajuddin and Zakir.Witness depositions had begun on Oct 1. The court heard the testimonies of 36 out of the 38 witnesses.Fresh depositions of 11 witnesses were held following a plea by prime suspect Kamrul Islam.On Jul 8 this year, 13-year-old Rajan was beaten to death on charges of theft.
