Miscreants hacked a freedom fighter and his son in front of Medico at Kabirpur area of Abaipur union under Shailkupa in Jhenaidah on Tuesday at 7pm.The injured person was identified as Mukter Hosen Mridha, 65, former chairman of Abaipur chairman and member of district Awami League and his son Morshed, 30.The cause behind the attack could not be known immediately.Md. Torikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shailkupa Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.In this connection, Mahmudul Hasan, another son of Mukter Hosen, said that, his father and brother were sitting in front of the Medico at Kabirpur. At that time, miscreants attacked on them with homemade weapons. Later locals recovered them and sent first to Shailkupa Upazila Health Complex. Later they were shipted to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital.
