The Airport Customs officials arrested one person and recovered 12 gold bars weighing 1-kg and 400 grams from his possession at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HISA) here on Tuesday morning.The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Raihan, son of Badiul Alam, hailed from Chittagong district.The estimated value of the recovered gold is around Taka 65 lakh.Airport sources said the customs intelligent department officials detained Raihan from boarding bridge area of the Aiport for his suspicious movement and recovered the gold bars after searching his body and luggage.The arrestee arrived here from Dubai on a Bangladesh Biman aircraft (BG-048) around 9.30am.
