Jinping leaves Dhaka after 22-hour state visit

China President Xi Jinping left Dhaka for India on Saturday morning concluding his 22-hour state visit.Earlier around 9am, the Chinese president paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar.On Friday afternoon, heads of the two governments signed 27 deals -15 Memorandums of Understanding and 12 loan and framework agreements-on different projects.Four fighter jets of Bangladesh Air Force escorted the Chinese President’s plane as it took off and remained on Bangladesh airspace.Xi Jinping went Goa to attend a two-day five-nation BRICS Summit beginning on October 16.
