Authorities of the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) have closed for an indefinite period following a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on the campus on Monday.The male students will have to vacate the university’s dormitory by 5:00pm while the female students by tomorrow morning.Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university Rafiqul Alam said seven BCL activists were injured in a clash between two factions of BCL on the campus in the morning.Three of the injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.The Cuet authorities took the decision in an emergency meeting after the two BCL faction clashed over establishing supremacy on the campus, leaving at least four activists injured.
