On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Virat Kohli and other members of the Indian cricket team joined BCCI officials, including President Anurag Thakur, in a cleanup drive. The BCCI tweeted out a video of the players and the officials participating in the drive. The Board also said that the drive was part of the Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.In the video, the officials and the players are seen cleaning up the stands of what has to be the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata, reports Indian Express.The stadium is the venue for the ongoing second Test match between India and New Zealand. “On the occasion of #GandhiJayanti- BCCI President Lt. @ianuragthakur, @imVkohli & #TeamIndia take part in #SwachhBharatAbhiyan #MyCleanIndia,” said the tweet from the BCCI’s twitter handle.Virat Kohli’s India are hosting New Zealand for a three-match Test series.
