World Bank President Dr. Jim Yong Kim is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on October 17, the International Day on Poverty Alleviation.Communication Officer of the WB’s Dhaka office Mehrin Ahmed Mahbub revealed the information on Saturday.Maherin confirmed the date of Kim’s arrival and added the itinerary is yet to be finalised.The WB chief will visit Bangladesh to see the country’s successful initiatives in achieving MDGs and meeting poverty alleviation targets. So Kin decided to visit Bangladesh on that day, said Mehrin.
