১৪ বছর বয়সে ধর্ষণের শিকার হয়েছিলেন সালমানের প্রথম প্রেমিকা

হ্যাশট্যাগ ‘মি টু’ (#me too) ঝড়ে উত্তাল বলিউড। নানা পাটেকারের বিরুদ্ধে অভিনেত্রী তনুশ্রী দত্তের যৌন হেনস্থার অভিযোগ আসার পর থেকেই একে একে নারীরা কাঠগড়ায় দাঁড় করিয়েছেন বাঘা বাঘা সব তারকাদের। ‘কাজের বিনিময়ে নারীদের ভোগ করতে চাওয়া’দের এই তালিকায় অমিতাভ বচ্চনের নামও।

সেই ধারাবাহিকতায়ই এবার মুখ খুললেন সালমান খানের প্রথম প্রেমিকা সোমি আলি। মাত্র ৫ বছর বয়সে যৌন নিপীড়ন আর ১৪ বছর বয়সে ধর্ষণের শিকার হওয়ার কথা জানালেন তিনি।

তবে তিনি কোনো তারকার বিরুদ্ধে সরব হননি। একটি টুইটের মাধ্যমে কেবল নিজের জীবনের যন্ত্রণাদায়ক অতীতের কথা জানিয়েছেন সোমি আলি।

তিনি জানান, ‘আমি যৌন হেনস্থার শিকার হয়েছিলাম ৫ বছর বয়সে এক গৃহকর্মীর দ্বারা। আমি ধর্ষণের শিকার হয়েছিলাম ১৪ বছর বয়সে। আমি বড় হয়েছিলাম পাকিস্তানের সেই সময়টাতে যেখানে গৃহে নারীদের নির্যাতনের শিকার হওয়ার ঘটনা ছিল খুবই স্বাভাবিক। প্রায়ই দেখতাম মায়ের বান্ধবীদের শরীরে একাধিক আঘাতের চিহ্ন। মা বলতেন, তারা পড়ে গিয়ে ব্যাথা পেয়েছেন।’

সালমান খানের প্রথম প্রেমিকা সোমি আলি ১৯৯০-র দশকে ৯টি হিন্দি সিনেমায় অভিনয় করেন তিনি। কিন্তু সালমানে খানের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক ভেঙে যাওয়ার পর তিনি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ফ্লোরিডায় চলে যান। আর ফিরে আসেননি।

সোমি আলি পরবর্তীতে প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছেন মানবতাবাদী সংগঠন ‘নো মোর টিয়ার্স’। এই সংগঠনের মাধ্যমে নিপীড়িত নারীদের জন্য কাজ করেন তিনি।
